Allan scored 23 goals and 24 assists in 1995 to lead the Hotshots' scoring attack with 47 points. He was named to the inaugural CISL Eastern All-Star team, where he assisted two goals to help beat the Western All-Stars in overtime last season. He has played locally for Galveston International, Houston Rangers and Houston Hurricanes (Under 19/Men's Open) and in Argentina for San Lorenzo. Allan trains Under 10 and Under 14 boys teams in the West University Soccer Club, and he has also been a special guest trainer for the Kinkaid High School varsity girls' soccer team.

A perennial Hotshots All-Star, Allan garnered league-wide recognition for the second consecutive year. Despite some nagging injuries, Allan finished the regular '96 season fourth on the team with 45 points and 18 goals. He was second in assists with 26 and had the highest shooting percentage on the team (35.2%).
